Since 2005, we have organized intensive 7-day camps for hundreds of patients recommended by hematologists, providing care from a hematology nurse, doctor, and therapist. This form of rehabilitation is an effective way to regain strength and boost morale. Through this type of therapy, patients are encouraged to fight depression, return to the labor market, engage in regular physical activity, and participate in volunteer work to help other patients. The therapeutic results of the camp are so significant that they have been recognized and the initiative itself has been awarded. In 2024, we received several awards evaluating our project:
- Special Award of the Council for Public Benefit Activities 2024 for the project: "Rehabilitation Camp."
- "Rodzynki z Pozarządówki" for the project: "Rehabilitation Camps for Patients with Cancer."
WHO IS IT FOR?
The camp is intended for patients who have recently been hospitalized or are struggling with poor wellbeing. Participants qualify for the event based on an assessment of their ability to participate in workshops, provided there are no contraindications from a doctor.
FINANCIAL COVERAGE
We provide full board: breakfast and dinner prepared together in the form of a buffet, with lunch or dinner delivered by an external company. We also cover accommodation, transportation to and from the camp,
and all costs related to the stay, including participation in activities, access to thermal baths, and entry to visited tourist attractions.
ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING
Before each trip, a mandatory organizational meeting is held to discuss the most important issues, the agreement, and the rules of the stay, so you feel confident and safe.
SUMMARY MEETING
After each trip, a summary meeting is held to exchange opinions about the camp, while also taking the opportunity for all participants to meet once again. This is also an occasion to express gratitude to Sponsors and Partners.
